This is a space for the seekers, the stuck, the storytellers, the ones standing in-between — not quite who they used to be, not yet sure who they're becoming.
My name is Kirstin Kluver.
Daughter of Douglas and Jacqueline Kluver. I am a sister, an aunt, a friend, a stranger. I am an actor, a massage therapist, a consultant for operational and organizational strategy. I can kind-of sew and I love to sing. I nap frequently and I am curious often.
I am so excited to weave together the practices and principles I have gathered along the path with my experience in theater, the healing and somatic arts and just my overall spiritually-seeking ordinary life… and perhaps in that curiosity, to open a doorway between here and there… approaching that threshold with an open heart so I may cross with more mindfulness, more surrender, more joy, and plain old courage to keep trying.
I created The Threshold as a creative sanctuary and spiritual workshop — a place where the tools of play, reflection, movement, and myth come together to help us remember who we are. A container for me to show up “out loud” and express my experience so that I may remember who I am.
Each Week you will find:
Weekly reflections Personal seeds and inspirations, the metaphors of change and choice. In pursuit of a creative life.
Stories and invitations to help you alchemize the stuck places into creative energy.
Practices and prompts to reconnect with your voice, your body, and your sense of meaning. New keys for unknown locks. Some may work, some may not… but why not have a little joy in the trying?
This is for the artists in a rut.
The humans in a shift.
The brave hearts yearning for beauty, honesty, and new ways of seeing.
There are no “have to”s if you choose to follow along.
These writings are not a prescription, nor does my purpose include the claim that I know how to bring change in your life, and I will only be sharing the catalysts from my own experience. My purpose DOES include stoking the sparks of curiosity.
I hope to see you along the path,
meeting edges…
sharing snacks…
In kindness,
Kirstin Kluver
Why “The Threshold”?
Because transformation doesn’t happen in the room
or outside it — it happens right at the edge.
That liminal space where the next version of you begins to stir.
This is that space.
